An Anti-Ragging Cell is hereby constituted in Anant College of Pharmacy, Goverdhanpur, Haridwar as per guidelines of regulatory authority. The purpose of the Cell is to ensure that the institution remains a ragging-free campus and to take immediate and strict action against any incident of ragging as per the rules of the institution and the law.

Objectives of the Anti-Ragging Cell

• To prevent any act of ragging inside or outside the campus.
• To create awareness among students regarding the ill effects of ragging.
• To ensure compliance with the provisions of the UGC regulations on anti-ragging.
• To receive complaints on ragging and take prompt disciplinary action.
• To maintain a safe, secure, and friendly learning environment in the college.

Functions of the Anti-Ragging Cell

• To keep strict vigil in the college premises to prevent ragging.
• To conduct orientation and awareness programs for new students.
• To receive, investigate, and act upon complaints related to ragging.
• To submit regular reports on anti-ragging measures to the affiliating university / council.
• To recommend strict disciplinary action against those found guilty of ragging.

Complaint Procedure

• Any student being a victim of or witnessing ragging may immediately report the matter to the Convener or Chairperson of the Anti-Ragging Cell.
• Complaints can be made in writing or via email / helpline number.
• The Cell will acknowledge the complaint within 24 hours and initiate an inquiry within 48 hours.
